Karine Lamiraud

Karine Lamiraud received a Ph.D. in Economics from Paris School of Economics and the University of Lausanne in 2004. She has been Assistant Professor of Health Economics at the University of Lausanne since 2005. Her current work includes studies of social interaction, competition and consumer choices in health insurance markets, patient preferences for alternative treatments (mostly in HIV disease) and catastrophic expenditures in developing countries.
