Katie Farrant is Senior Manager in the Macro Financial Analysis Division in the Monetary Analysis directorate of the Bank of England. Her work focuses on understanding what can be learnt from financial markets about the real economy. She has previously worked as part of the UK delegation to the IMF, as well as the Financial Stability directorate of the Bank of England. She received her M.A. from the University of Cambridge and her M.Sc from the London School of Economics.
