Keisaku Higashida

Keisaku Higashida is a professor in the School of Economics at Kwansei Gakuin University. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the Hitotsubashi University in 2003. Professor Higashida has received the Kojima Kiyoshi Prize for Excellent Papers and the Oda Prize from the Japan Society of International Economics (JSIE). He is a board member of JSIE and the Japan International Fisheries Research Society (JIFRS). His research expertise covers international economics, environmental and resource economics, and industrial organization. He has published several articles in leading academic journals including the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, the International Journal of Industrial Organization, and the Canadian Journal of Economics.
