Kelly Ragan earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago. Her research has been published in The Economic Journal, AEJ Macroeconomics, AER Papers and Proceedings, and Economics Letters. Her research focuses on quantifying the impact of the birth control pill on women and children, understanding historical and contemporary determinants of unwed childbearing, and the impact of taxes and public expenditures on market and non-market work in OECD countries.
