Kenichi Ueda is a Senior Economist in the Research Department at the International Monetary Fund. His research focus is interlinkage between financial system and macroeconomy. His publications appeared in Review of Economic Studies, International Economic Review, and Journal of Development Economics among others. He obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago before joining the Fund in 2000. Prior to the Ph.D. study, he also worked for the Ministry of Finance, Japan, after B.A. in economics from the University of Tokyo.
