Konomi Tonogi

Konomi Tonogi is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Kanagawa University. Prior to this, she was a part time Lecturer at Kyoritsu Women’s University (2014-2015) and at the Chuo Graduate School of International Accounting (2012-2015); Adjunct Research Fellow at the Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University (2012-2013); part time Lecturer at Rissho University (2011-2014, 2008-2009); officer at the Economic and Social Research Institute, Cabinet Office of Japan (2008-2011); Research Assistant at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (2006-2008); Teaching Assistant at Hitotsubashi University (2006, 2004); and Adjunct Research Fellow at the Research Institute of Capital Formation, Development Bank of Japan (2005-2008). She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Hitotsubashi University in 2015. Her research interests focus on firm value and investment dynamics, productivity and intangible assets, business cycles, and macroeconomic policy. Her research has been published in academic journals including Journal of Knowledge Management, Economics and Information Technology. She is a member of the Japanese Economic Association and the Japan Society of Monetary Economics.
