Kristina Manysheva is a PhD Candidate in Economics in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University. Her research focuses on the macroeconomic aspects of economic development using macro models that incorporate empirically motivated micro-economic features, such as heterogeneity and market frictions, to evaluate the quantitative impact of various policies and institutions in a general equilibrium setting.
