Laura is the Kathleen Kaylor and G. Richard Wagoner, Jr. Assistant Professor of Economics at Duke University and an NBER Research Fellow. She was previously a Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. She received her Ph.D. in economics from The University of Chicago in 2013, and a B.A. in economics and math from New York University in 2007. Her research broadly focuses on applied macroeconomics questions in the areas of labor economics and consumption dynamics.
