Lee E. Biggerstaff is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Finance at the University of Tennessee. He received his M.B.A. and undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and he has professional experience in banking and corporate restructuring. His primary areas of research include corporate governance, agency theory, and executive compensation. Mr. Biggerstaff’s research has been presented at the Financial Management Association Annual Meeting, the Mid-Atlantic Research Conference, and the National Bureau of Economic Research.
