Leonardo M. Giuffrida

Leonardo M. Giuffrida is an applied microeconomist with research interests at the intersection of public economics and industrial organization. The main purpose of his research activity is to disentangle the channels through which the government can affect social welfare. In doing so, his focus to date has been assessing the quality of public governance and measuring the efficiency of government spending. His on-going projects are based on data from the United States and Italy.Currently He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for European Economic Research (ZEW), Department of Corporate Taxation and Public Finance, in Mannheim (Germany).
