Lex Hoogduin is the Global Chief Economist of Robeco since 2005. From August 2006 he has been Managing Director of IRIS (Institute for Research and Investment Services B.V.). IRIS is doing investment research for retail clients. Mr. Hoogduin is also part-time Professor of Monetary Economics and Financial Institutions at the University of Amsterdam. From 1997 until May 2001, he has worked as the Personal Adviser to Wim Duisenberg, the first President of the European Central Bank.
