Ling Zhu is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research interests are in international finance and monetary policy, with a particular focus on exchange rates, capital controls, capital flows, and central bank independence. His work has been published in the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking.
