Lisa Simon

Junior Economist and Doctoral Student, ifo Center for the Economics of Education at ifo Institute

Lisa Simon is a Junior Economist and Doctoral Student at the ifo Center for the Economics of Education at the ifo Institute. Her research interests are labour and education economics. She works with both self-collected experimental data as well as administrative data to answer policy-relevant questions regarding determinants of individual labour market outcomes.  In 2016/17 she spent 10 months at the University of California at Berkeley at the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment. She was awarded funding by the German Academic Exchange Service for this. Miss Simon holds a Masters Degree in Economics from Sciences Po Paris and the École Polytechnique and Bachelors Degree in Economics and Politics from Lancaster University. She has worked at the French Ministry of Health and the OECD.
