Lorenz Gschwent

Lorenz Gschwent is a PhD student at the University of Duisburg-Essen and a member of the DFG research training group Regional Disparities and Economic Policy. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Vienna and has previously worked at the Vienna Institute of International Economic Studies (wiiw) and the Wyss Academy for Nature at the University of Bern. His research interests lie in regional economics and political economy. He is also interested in novel data sources, in particular text as data.
