Luc Eyraud

Deputy Division Chief at International Monetary Fund

Luc Eyraud is deputy division chief in the Fiscal Policy division of the IMF's Fiscal Affairs Department. He has been at the IMF for more than 10 years. He has worked, as part of country teams, on Argentina, Chile, the Euro Area, Italy, Madagascar, Romania, and South Africa. Prior to joining the IMF, he served as civil servant at the French Treasury. In his current position, he is in charge of coordinating chapters of the Fiscal Monitor, which is the flagship report of the IMF on fiscal issues. His research areas include fiscal decentralization, fiscal rules, fiscal multipliers, fiscal governance in Europe, and capital taxation. Luc Eyraud is econometrician by training.
