Lucas ter Steege is an economist in the financial stability division of the Deutsche Bundesbank. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Bonn and a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Münster. Prior to joining the Deutsche Bundesbank in 2020, he was a Ph.D. student at the University of Bonn and a member of the Research Training Group "The Macroeconomics of Inequality" at the Department of Macroeconomics and Econometrics. His main interests include quantitative macroeconomics, financial stability, and economic history.
