Luis Rojas

Luis E. Rojas is a Visiting Assistant Professor at New York University Abu Dhabi and a Professor Ajudant at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute in Florence, along with an MSc and a BSc in Economics and a BSc in Mathematics from Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia. Luis’s research focuses on monetary policy, macro banking, and optimal taxation. His work delves into key topics such as expectations formation and learning in macroeconomics. Prior to his academic appointments, Luis served as an economist at the Central Bank of Colombia, where he developed macroeconomic models for policy analysis.
