Lusine Samvel Badalyan is a PhD Candidate at the University of Bremen and at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences. She is currently a visiting PhD Fellow at the Free University of Berlin. Her main research interests fall within the fields of international relations and political economy, with particular emphasis on EU external governance, democracy promotion, trade and economic policies as well as democratization processes in Eastern Europe and Eurasia.
