M. Udara Peiris is an Associate Professor of Financial Economics at Oberlin College and Conservatory. He was previously an Associate Professor of Finance at HSE University (at the department ICEF) and has taught at the University of Warwick, and the University of Oxford where he completed his PhD in Financial Economics at the Said Business School.
His research covers the nexus between the macroeconomy and the financial markets with an emphasis on capital flows and sovereign debt issues.
