Maarten van ’t Riet is an economist and works as a Researcher at the Public Finance sector of CPB. He is associated with the University of Leiden. His main field of interest is welfare analysis, both theoretical and applied. At CPB he used a general equilibrium model for analysis of the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union. Before he was a Consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations.
