Machiko Narita is a Senior Economist in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the IMF, where she currently works on monetary and macroprudential policy issues. Previously, she has worked in the IMF s Institute for Capacity Development and Western Hemisphere Department. She holds a PhD in economics from the University of Minnesota.
