Advisor, Financial Stability Directorate at Bank Of Italy

Maddalena Galardo is an Advisor in the Financial Stability Directorate of the Directorate General for Economics, Statistics and Research of the Bank of Italy. Previously she was an Economist in a Local Research Unit of the Bank of Italy and worked as an Analyst for Deloitte Consulting. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from LUISS University, an M.Sc. in Economics from LSE, and a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance from LUISS University. Her research interests include financial stability, macroprudential policy and empirical banking.
