Magda Smink

Researcher at Rathenau Institute

Magda Smink is a researcher at Rathenau Instituut. The Rathenau Instituut is publicly funded and aims to advance the public and political debate on the impact of science and technology on society. Magda's main expertise is in the politics of energy and sustainability. She is also working on issues related to digitization of society and digital platforms. In 2015, Magda received her PhD for research on the role of vested interests in the Dutch energy transition at the Innovation Studies group at Utrecht University. Magda studied International Relations at the University of Groningen (NL), including an exchange year in Québec, Canada. She finished her Master's degree in Sustainable Development at Utrecht University.
