Maikel Pellens

Maikel Pellens is a senior researcher in ZEW’s Research Department “Economics of Innovation and Industrial Dynamics”. His research interests lie in the economics of innovation and science. He thereby focuses on microeconometric analyses related to firm-level innovation dynamics, the production of scientific knowledge, as well as how they interact with each other. His research has been published in academic journals such as Research Policy and Industrial and Corporate Change. He joined ZEW in 2014 after completing his doctoral dissertation at the KU Leuven, Belgium (2010–2014).
