Marcel Henkel is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bern and a research fellow at the Center for Regional Economic Development (CRED). He received his undergraduate and Master's degree from the University of Hohenheim and his PhD in Economics from the University of Duisburg-Essen. His research and teaching specialize in spatial economics, public economics, labour economics, macroeconomics and international trade.
