Marcin Zogala

Deputy Head of the Fiscal Governance Unit, DG ECFIN at European Commission

Marcin Zogala is the Deputy Head of the Fiscal Governance Unit in the European Commission’s Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs (DG ECFIN). He has been working at DG ECFIN since 2006 in both research and policy-related fields, including external trade and competitiveness, fiscal policy, and EMU architecture. Previously he worked at the National Bank of Poland on issues related to exchange rates and monetary integration. He studied in Poland (Katowice) and in the Netherlands (Tilburg), and holds degrees in international economics and business administration.
