Marco Casiraghi is a Policy and Macro Strategist in the Global Policy and Central Banking Strategy team at Evercore ISI, where he covers the Federal Reserve, the ECB, the Bank of England, and the Bank of Japan. He was previously a Financial Sector Expert in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the IMF, where he worked on monetary and macroprudential policies, focusing on central bank communication. Prior to joining the IMF, he was in the Monetary Analysis Division at the Bank of Italy where he contributed to assessing macroeconomic and financial conditions, and determining the appropriate ECB monetary policy stance. He has published research on several topics, including the effectiveness of unconventional monetary measures and their impact on inequality. Marco holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University.
