Marcus Painter is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Saint Louis Unviersity. His research focuses on using geospatial data to study open questions in finance and economics. He also studies how climate change and other environmental factors affect the value of investments. His work has been cited in numerous media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, and The Boston Globe and has been published in respected journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics. Marcus currently teaches Principles of Finance at Saint Louis University. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Kentucky and his BS.BA. in Finance from the University of Missouri.
