Margarita Lopez Forero is an applied economist working on different topics in international economics and its link with development, labor and public economics. She is a research economist at the French central bank, she holds a PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and was previously a postdoctoral researcher at Evry/Paris-Saclay University. Her professional experience includes France Stratégie, OFCE-Sciences Po, Banque de France, the Colombian coffee producers' NGO and she has been a teaching assistant at Paris I and Paris-Nanterre Universities.
