Mario Marangoni

Mario Marangoni is the Head of the Prudential Regulation Division in the Regulation and Supervisory Policies Department of the Bank of Italy, the Italian central bank. He has been the representative of Banca d'Italia in international working groups dealing with prudential regulation issues at the EU level (Capital Requirements Directive Transposition Group) and at CEBS (Expert Group on Prudential Regulation and Subgroup on Own Funds). Over the last years he has been dealing mainly with issues related to the implementation of Basel II, the revisions of the CRD directive, regulatory capital and the prudential treatment of securitisations.
