Mario Monti is President of Bocconi University, as well as lifetime Senator. He was Italy's Prime Minister between 2011 and 2013, leading a technocratic government. He also was a European Commisisoner from 1994 to 2004, holding among others, the position of Competition Commissioner.
He studied at Bocconi University, and did his graduate studies at Yale University.
