Marius Liebald's research focuses on quantitative analyses of quasi-natural experiments from the early 20th century, helping to better understand current-day economic, financial and political phenomena. Moreover, he develops database models and software tailored to the challenges associated with historical financial and economic firm-level data.
He became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Faculty in February 2023. Dr. Liebald holds Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Administration (B.Sc.), a Master's Degree in Business Administration (M.Sc.), and Ph.D. in Economics.
