Mark Roberts is a Professor of Economics at the Pennsylvania State University, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and the Director of the Penn State Census Bureau Research Data Center. His research interests are in the areas of productivity analysis, industrial organisation, and international trade. His most recent research has focused on structural modeling of firm entry and exit in oligopolistic markets, entry into export markets, and firm investment in R&D. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
