Markus Lampe

Markus Lampe is Professor of Economic and Social History and Head of the Institute for Economic and Social History at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). Before, he worked at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, University of Copenhagen and University of Münster. He has published on trade policy in historical perspectives, the economic and agricultural history of Denmark, Spanish real estate markets and the role of communication networks in the first globalization - that is, different aspects of the history and political economy of globalization and market integration processes and how to manage them.
