Martin Gächter

Economist, Directorate General International and European Relations at European Central Bank

Martin Gächter is an Economist in the External Developments Division of the European Central Bank (ECB). He has also worked in the Foreign Research Division of the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Innsbruck. In addition to his work at the ECB, he teaches various courses at the University of Innsbruck, the University of Liechtenstein and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. His research interests focus mainly on international macroeconomics, trade and European integration issues.
