Martin Gassebner is Professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Hannover, Germany. Previously he was a Professor of Economics at the University of Reading, U.K. He obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Zurich in 2007. Gassebner has published in international journals such as the International Economic Review and International Organization and is a member of the editorial board of the European Journal of Political Economy. His research focuses on political economy, economic development, and international economics.
