Martin Goetz is FResearch Economist at the Research Centre of the German Central Bank. Prior to his work at the Bundesbank he was an Associate Professor of Finance at Goethe University, Frankfurt. Before joining Goethe University in 2013, Martin was a Financial Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston from 2010 to 2013. In addition to research he took part in supervising U.S. banks implementation of quantitative risk models. His research focus lies on financial intermediation, the finance-and-growth nexus and banking. He holds a PhD in Economics from Brown University.
