Martin Kocher is Chair of Behavioural and Experimental Economics at the University of Munich. His research concerns how incentives and institutions affect the economic behavior of individuals and groups/teams. In this context, he is specifically interested in social dilemmas, decision making under uncertainty, behavioral contract theory, and auctions. Martin earned his doctorate from the University of Innsbruck and held positions at the University of Amsterdam and the University of East Anglia before he moved to Munich. Currently, he is also Affiliate Professor at the University of Gothenburg and Associate Editor at the Journal of Economic Psychology.
