Mateo Seré

Mateo Seré is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Antwerp. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics (University of Antwerp) as well as a Research Master’s degree in Economics (ULB-ECARES). Before moving to Belgium, he worked as a consultant and as a research assistant in Uruguay, where he also obtained his Bachelor’s degree. His research focuses on the measurement of multidimensional inequality, big data, machine learning and microsimulation. Other topics of interest include behavioural economics, gender inequality and history of economic thought.
