Matteo Picchio (1979) is Full Professor in Economics at Marche Polytechnic University (Ancona, Italy). He is also a research fellow of the Department of Economics of Ghent University, of IZA, and of GLO. He got a Ph.D. in Economics in 2009 from Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium). His research interests include labor economics, economics of education, health economics, and microeconometrics. He has published in journals like The Economic Journal, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series A, Journal of Economic Surveys, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Economics of Education Review, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, Labour Economics, European Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Income Inequality and Empirical Economics.
