Matthew Bloomfield’s research is primarily focused on incentives, earnings management, and the interplay between product market considerations and accounting choices.
He received his PhD in Accounting from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business (Class of 2018), and his Bachelor’s Degrees in Statistics and Music Performance from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor (Class of 2012).
