Matt is currently head of the Macro-financial Risks Division in the Financial Stability Directorate of the Bank of England, responsible for briefing the Financial Policy Committee on risks arising from corporate and household balance sheets. Prior to that, Matt worked in a variety of different roles in Monetary Analysis, including macroeconomic forecasting, model development and as manager of the monetary strategy team.
