Matthijs Wildenbeest is a Professor of Economics at the University of Arizona. He received his PhD and Bachelor degree in Economics from Erasmus University. His research focuses on industrial organization and applied econometrics. The topics he has studied include consumer search behavior and its implications for pricing strategies; search and learning; search engines; and vertical relations in the e-book market.
