Mattia Picarelli is an Economist at the European Stability Mechanism, where over the last four years he has conducted research and elaborated policy notes in the areas of sovereign debt, fiscal policy and financial stability. Before joining the ESM, Mattia worked for the European Investment Bank and the European Parliament. He holds a PhD in Economics from Sapienza University of Rome and an MSc in Economics and Finance from LUISS Guido Carli.
