Macroeconomic Analyst in the Office of the Chief Economist at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)

Maxim Chupilkin is a Macroeconomic Analyst at the EBRD Office of the Chief Economist. He holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago and BA in Economics from New Economic School and Higher School of Economics. At EBRD, Maxim works in the Global Economics team where he analyses job postings data (>60 mln observations) and focuses on macroeconomics and political economy for the Regional Economic Prospects and the Transition Report. Prior to joining the EBRD, Maxim worked on international political economy and macroeconomic policy at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, University of Chicago and HSE. His research interests include the effect of international politics on trade, finance and economic development.
