Melanie Ward-Warmedinger

Melanie Ward-Warmedinger is Policy Coordinator in DG-ECFIN of the European Commission and Policy Fellow at the IZA in Bonn. She has over 15 years of experience in economic policy analysis, working on issues including country surveillance, EMU deepening, labour markets and economic adjustment programmes. Prior to her current roles, Melanie worked at the European Central Bank, the Single Supervisory Mechanism and the IZA. She studied in St. Andrews University, Scotland and holds a PhD in Labour Economics.
