Melline Somers

Melline Somers is a post-doctoral researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) – Maastricht University. She obtained her PhD on the topic of skill mismatch at the Top Institute for Evidence Based Education Research at Maastricht University. Her research interests are in the field of education- and labour economics. Her research mainly focusses on education systems and (inequality) in educational outcomes, technological change and (inequality) in labour market outcomes. More recently, Melline started a project on labour shortages in the education and healthcare sectors.
