Mette Gørtz

Mette Gørtz is an associate professor at the Department of Economics at University of Copenhagen. Her research centers around health, education and family economics. Her recent work investigates sources of inequality in health and education, focusing on how individual preferences and personality traits contribute in explaining gaps in health and socioeconomic outcomes. Her research has been published in journals such as the Economic Journal, Demography, and Journal of Health Economics, as well as in journals in other disciplines.
