Michael Lokshin

Lead Economist, Europe and Central Asia Region at The World Bank

Michael Lokshin is a Lead Economist in the Office of Chief Economist, Europe and Central Asia Region of the World Bank. His research focuses on the areas of poverty and inequality measurement, labor economics, and applied econometrics. Michael holds a Masters in Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
