Michal Stelmach

Michal Stelmach is an Economist at the Bank of England. Prior to joining the Bank, he held various analytical roles at the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) and HM Treasury. In 2015-16, he was seconded to the independent review of UK economic statistics led by Professor Sir Charles Bean (The Bean Review), which assessed the challenges of measuring the modern economy. In 2017, he won the Rybczynski Prize for the best piece of writing on economics, awarded by the Society of Professional Economists.
